What a wonderful year!
Life, both personal and professional, has been speeding along in the best possible way, and I’m finally grabbing a moment to breathe, catch up and post.
First things first (you may have noticed): new pictures, new site! The photos were done by the always remarkable Jordan Matter, and my website, as you can see, has been shined, polished and gussied up for 2016. It’s got all-the-things.
Professionally I’m having my best year yet—recent voice over clients include Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., Farmer’s Insurance, and the NHL. (There was also a fun little record of a gruesome new short story—The Fat Man Wore Red by John C. Foster, adding noir, dark fiction, and ‘holiday horror’ to my audiobook repertoire.) In the realm of actually being seen when I speak: I performed last fall in a terrific reading of an excellent new play—Dark at the Center by Deborah Savage, directed by the inimitable John Howard Swain.
Our recent move to a wonderful new (and bigger!) apartment in Brooklyn has afforded room to stretch, grow, and build. I’ve been taking on more work, upgrading my home studio, and searching for the ground with my already running feet.
The last six months have been a whirlwind of activity, and it’s nice to finally have some glorious summer sun to pause, set down my feet, catch my breath, and send out missives. (Next up: take the dog out for a run…)
